I AM FINE!
A regular answer to the question, "how are you?"
But have you ever tried to know what a person is going
through?
Or have you ever got answers like "I am not ", “I
am not doing well"?
People nowadays are more concerned about them, not others.
People tend to hurt anyone and majorly the close ones, but have they ever
thought the consequences? Do they know what already a person is going through?
The answer is a BIG NO!
Just like the real dog, it needs to be embraced, understood,
taught new tricks, and ultimately brought to heal.
Depression is one of the major threats to the world as the person suffering from depression feels empty, his life slows down. Social, professional, personal life of a person with depression is affected and goes down day by day. The person starts isolating himself from his surroundings, isolates himself from everyone and everything. Depression changes the way one feels and the way one thinks. There's always a cloud of negative thoughts overshadowing them.
The memory of a depressed person feels like chewed up and
needs superhuman power to concentrate. Always having a fear of judgement and a
thought to live happily, to live without that black dog (depression).
"KEEPING UP AN EMOTIONAL LIE IS ALWAYS EXHAUSTING"
Depression can come of nowhere without reason or occasion. Depression doesn't need an invitation. A depressed person starts seeing the world with glasses of depression and sees the world as depressed. Depression buries all the intimacy, leaves the person exhausted, devoid of feeling together. The person breaks from within as the days pass.
This threat can be simply reduced by being emotionally
genuine and authentic to those who are close to you. One should not be afraid
of depression and should keep their minds quiet. People should practice regular
exercise and meditation. In this world full of competitions and lack of time,
one should always have some time to self-introspection.
No matter how bad it gets, if you take the right steps, talk
to the right people, depression can and will pass.
Learn through knowledge, patience, discipline, and humor that worst depression can be made to heel, never hesitate to seek help!
